The restaurant here was nice with excellent food and cheerful staff, we both ordered delicious dishes. The location was stunning, around 10-15 minutes walk from a seaside pleasure pier. Set in 15 minutes' walk to downtown, and the staff were affable and accommodating.

We visited Drusillas, perfect for animal lovers, and enjoyed its engaging atmosphere. The hotel had a lovely vibe, and the staff were friendly and cute. The breakfast included some great options. Plus, the garden area was perfect for relaxation after a fun day of exploring.
One downside was the noise from adjoining rooms at night, which disrupted our sleep at times. It could get a bit uncomfortable if you're staying with a group and trying to unwind.

Breakfast was excellent. Staff very helpful and welcoming. Room was clean with good seaview, great shower. If you like nice, quiet and relaxing then stay here.
Good hotel and no issues at all. Could have done with a mini fridge in the room but not essential. Decor, dated but adds character, expected nothing less.

My wife and I had to make an overnight stay in Eastbourne - how very lucky we were that we selected 'The Hydro'. It is an absolutely superb hotel in every possible way. The location is quiet yet still close enough to walk to the town. Parking is not a problem. Whilst we were not at the hotel long enough to enjoy all the facilities we were both very impressed with everything from the cleanliness and sumptuous surroundings to the super breakfast.

I hate everything about the hotel,i came with my family but when i got to the hotel i was told the pool is not opened and also the hotel is just a glorified old peoples home.I will never in my whole life recommend the hotel for anybody.

great room but noise from events
The room I stayed in was bright and had an very nice sea view, made my mornings lovely. I appreciated the large, plush towels and the added fridge for my drinks.
The noise from a nearby wedding event was disruptive during the evening.
